Yassan’s work “Spring in Kyoto” won a award in the “Kyoto Marathon GPS Art” satellite event of the Kyoto Marathon. This is the third time in total, breaking the record for consecutive awards. The competition started as an online event, made possible by the Corona disaster. The quality of the entries has been improving each time the contest is held, and I feel that GPS art has become more popular and the technology has matured.I am very happy to have won an award among them.I hope they will hold the event again next year! Started to release the 2022 version of the Sakura Run courses on GPSART.info, the route sharing site of GPS Art. It is a course where you can draw GPS art of cherry blossoms at Hanami spots all over Japan. Citizen runners have been running these courses as a way to avoid crowds and enjoy the cherry blossoms.I have already released 99 courses in 47 prefectures, starting in the spring of 2020.
