Yassan’s work “Spring in Kyoto” won a award in the “Kyoto Marathon GPS Art” satellite event of the Kyoto Marathon. This is the third time in total, breaking the record for consecutive awards. The competition started as an online event, made possible by the Corona disaster. The quality of the entries has been improving each time the contest is held, and I feel that GPS art has become more popular and the technology has matured.I am very happy to have won an award among them.I hope they will hold the event again next year! AWARD-WINNING WORK: Spring in Kyoto I drew this GPS drawing while thinking of Kyoto, far away from the city, while there were restrictions on movement across the prefecture due to the Corona disaster.The season is Risshun(the beginning of the spring).
