Born in Saitama, Japan in 1977, Yasushi Takahashi (a.k.a. Yassan) lives and works in Tokyo and Saitama, Japan. Holds a BFA at Tokyo University of the Arts (2004: Inter Media Art Course).
Started GPS drawing after a marriage proposal and holds a Guinness World Record. His spectacular land art has traveled around the world, and as a pioneer in the GPS art world, he has created many record-breaking works. Also developing activities to create GPS art as a culture with various fields around the world.
His work has been showcased on television, in magazines, and over 3,000 news and web publications worldwide.
Featured in Google’s “Search on.” documentary series.
Certified crypto-artist at SBI NFT (nanakusa), FAT Collection and some registered NFT marketplaces.

STORY
EVERYTHINGS STARTED FROM PROPOSE.
In 2008, he quit his job and started a journey with GPS on his 31st birthday. He spent 6 months traveling across the Japanese islands to make the world’s largest proposal to his girlfriend. It was his the first GPS art.
