Tiger in Kenninji Temple

In the precincts of Kenninji Temple, one of Kyoto’s most popular tourist spots, there is a temple famous for its victory prayers called Ryosokuin (Bishamonten Hall).
A messenger of victory, a tiger, is enshrined in the precincts. A tiger is enshrined in the temple.
